Who is eligible for transport?
The NEPTS service is only available to eligible patients. You are considered eligible if:
- Your medical condition is such that you require the skills and support of NEPTS staff during or after your journey, and/or it would be detrimental to your condition or recovery to travel by other means. Or:
- Your medical condition affects your mobility to such an extent that you would be unable to access healthcare and/or it would be detrimental to your condition or recovery to travel by other means.
- You may also travel if you are the recognised parent or guardian of a child being transported by NEPTS.
You are not eligible if:
- You are attending a primary care service, such as a routine GP or health centre appointment
- You are not an NHS patient
- You require transport outside England, Scotland and Wales The person booking your NEPTS

If you have transport booked with a SCAS NEPTS service you can manage your booking at our Patient Zone by clicking on the link below.
This system will allow you to book transport (except your first journey), manage your bookings and check your journey status. You also have the ability to cancel your booking if your transport is no longer required.
Which NEPTS service covers my area?
The NEPTS service for you depends on which Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) your GP falls under.
Hampshire NEPTS
(not including North East Hants and Farnham CCG, which falls under the Surrey NEPTS service)

Making a booking
Hampshire patients should contact a healthcare professional at their GP surgery or clinic to make a booking for them using our online system. You can then use NEPTS Patient Zone to book subsequent journeys, manage your bookings and check your journey status.
Please note: West Hampshire registered patients are able to place their first booking via a dedicated patient line on 0300 123 9833

Making a booking
Milton Keynes patients can make bookings directly by calling the SCAS Contact Centre, or bookings can be made by your GP or another healthcare professional.
