SCAS brought health, connection and lifesaving skills to the Over 60s Golders Club in Reading this October.

Held at Wesley Church on Queens Road, the session engaged more than 60 older residents, who took part in basic life support demonstrations and learned how to respond in an emergency.

The visit formed part of our ongoing community engagement work — helping people feel more confident, connected and prepared while promoting healthy living and wellbeing across the South Central area.

Andrew Withers, Community First Responder, said:

“It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and interest. Empowering people with the skills to save a life and look after their wellbeing makes a real difference in our communities.”
