Missing out in the London Marathon ballot doesn’t have to mean missing out on one of the world’s most iconic races.
South Central Ambulance Charity is offering six guaranteed places in the TCS 2027 London Marathon and is encouraging people who are passionate about making a difference to apply before 31 July 2026.
Successful applicants will receive a guaranteed place in next year’s event in return for committing to raise a minimum of £3,000 to support the charity’s lifesaving work across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
Every mile run, every step taken and every muscle strained will help the charity continue funding projects that make a real difference to patients, communities and the people who care for them every day.
Money raised helps fund volunteer community first responders who are often first on scene at medical emergencies, supports public access defibrillator initiatives, provides lifesaving community education and funds health and wellbeing projects that support South Central Ambulance Service staff and volunteers.

Applications for the charity places close on 31 July 2026, with successful applicants joining Team SCAS Charity for the TCS 2027 London Marathon.
