Nikhyta Patel, Public Engagement Facilitator, attended the Al-Hayat Centre in Southampton on Wednesday 8 March with a team of Paramedics, Emergency Care Assistants and Community First Responders to engage with their young students. SCAS staff shared information on how to access emergency and non-emergency services, CPR and how to use a defibrillator. The students were given the opportunity to take a tour of an ambulance and were given activity packs to take home with them.
A spokesperson for the mosque said “Everyone enjoyed the visit and benefitted greatly. We are extremely grateful to SCAS for their time and efforts and we hope to see them again soon.”
