Matthew was joined by SCAS staff including Henry Thomas-Foy, Paramedic, Hayley Purser, Paramedic, Lucy Thompson, ECA. He said: “The team worked together extremely well and made the day thoroughly enjoyable, albeit a long day for some”
Organised by the Berkshire Young Farmers Club (YFC), the good weather bought out the public to the Newbury Showground to enjoy a day of countryside activities, demonstrations, machinery, trade stands, craft stalls & food fayre, plus a host of YFC competitions to enjoy. This gave SCAS staff and volunteers a great opportunity to engage with members of the public, talk about what we do, provide CPR and defib demonstrations and show people around the vehicles.
