Join SCAS Patient Panel and share you views on what matters most to your local communities

Are you interested in becoming Sub Group Supporter of one of our panel Sub Groups?

You can be a key member of a group with the aim of identifying what matters most to those that live in our local communities?

The Patient Panel is made up of representatives from across the SCAS footprint allowing members of the public to be a voice and have their views acted upon.

You will be joining a wide team of volunteers who support SCAS to achieve their aim of providing world class patient care and as such know that you are playing a part in this aim

Our two Sub Groups will consist of a Mental Health Sub-group and a Learning Disabilities Sub Group.

Our Sub Groups will be part of our main Patient Panel focusing on Co-Production. SCAS values the views and opinions of applicants who have lived experience of Mental Health or Learning Disabilities, applying their knowledge from the service users perspective.

You will be directly impacting and facilitating change, helping people’s views to be acknowledged and where possible acted on.

If this is something you may be interested in, you can find out more and apply via the South Central Ambulance Charity website.

For an informal conversation about the roles, you can contact Nikhyta Patel, Patient and Public Engagement Facilitator, via email to arrange a suitable time: patientengagement@scas.nhs.uk.
