Project summary
This study is looking at the perceived stigma associated with prostate cancer among Black men in the UK. The aim of this study is to understand how stigma influences public health messaging, decision making, and identify how this stigma might be addressed with targeted health information.
SCAS are supporting this trial by advertising the study to participants and providing information on the process involved. SCAS teams will disseminate opportunities for participants to complete questionnaires at community research events. The questionnaires will be developed as part of the early stages of the study, through interviews and focus groups involving the participant group.
