South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) was proud to support the Armed Forces Day celebrations in Banbury on 27 June, where the team enjoyed a fantastic day engaging with the local community.
With the sun shining throughout the event, there was a great atmosphere as visitors came together to celebrate and show their support for the Armed Forces. The SCAS stall and ambulance proved to be extremely popular, attracting a steady stream of visitors of all ages.
Paramedic Barbara Sullivan and Laura Farrow from the Recruitment Team spent the day talking to members of the public about the work of the ambulance service, demonstrating the ambulance, answering questions and providing information about careers with SCAS. The event offered a valuable opportunity to engage with the community, inspire future recruits and showcase the diverse roles within the trust.
