It was back to school on Monday this week for team leader, Kate, and clinical team educator, Andy – Jubilee Wood Primary School in Fishermead, Milton Keynes to be precise.

Kate and Andy are experienced paramedics and are based a short drive away from the school at the Blue Light Hub in West Ashland.

Swapping heart monitors for hopscotch and trauma kits for playground chalk, Kate and Andy, visited the reception classes to talk to the children about when to call 999 and the importance of knowing your home address.

But as you can see it wasn’t all classroom-based – there was of course plenty of time for trying on some ambulance kit and having a look around the team leader response car.

There may also have been a little bit of lights and sirens 🚨🚑
