We are pleased to announce the results of recent elections to appoint new members to our Council of Governors.
Following the close of voting at 5pm on 24 February 2026, the election has now been completed, and 11 governors have been appointed across public, staff and Community First Responder (CFR) constituencies.
Professor Sir Keith Willett, Chairman of SCAS, said: “Governors play an essential role in supporting the trust and ensuring the voices of our communities are heard. Thank you also to everyone else who stood for election and those who voted.”

Governors play a vital role in representing the interests of patients, staff and local communities, ensuring that SCAS remains responsive to the needs of the populations it serves and continues to deliver high-quality emergency and urgent care services.
The newly elected governors will formally take up their roles at the next meeting of the Council of Governors on 4 March 2026.
The elections were independently administered by Civica Election Services using the single transferable vote system to ensure fairness and transparency.
