Now in his third and final term, Mark Davis continues to play a significant leadership role at South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) as Deputy Lead Governor and Public Governor, Berkshire.
Mark lives in Earley with his wife, a Sister in the local Emergency Department, and their three children. His clinical journey began with his Operating Department Practice training at Thames Valley University, graduating in 1999.
Over the years, Mark developed a strong passion for clinical education, progressing to become a Clinical Trainer, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer. Today, he works as an independent training consultant, delivering clinical training across the NHS, private sector and wider business community.
In 2009, Mark was honoured with a Fellowship of the Royal Society for Public Health, recognising his contribution to professional standards and public health improvement.
“SCAS, like all ambulance services, faces immense operational and financial pressures,” Mark said. “But that must never compromise our ability to deliver the best possible care to the public. I will always work to ensure that remains our focus.”
Representing members’ views remains central to Mark’s work as Governor.
“I’ll continue to make sure your views are heard in every decision we make,” he added. “I look forward to meeting members at events and public meetings.”
