It was so lovely to hear so many people remembered in prayers at the Armistice Day Services, including that of the emergency services. So very proud to hear our amazing SCAS teams being recognised in them and also seeing our family recognising those who gave their lives and served so that we may live the way we do today.

These amazing pictures were captured during this moment of remembrance:

  • In Bracknell representatives from 999 operations, PTS, the Community Engagement Team and our Director of Operations stood in the stations Garden of Remembrance.
  • In Totton the PTS team from Totton and Hightown marked the event together with the team from the fire station next door.
  • At Winchester and Eastleigh Resource Centre our SCAS teams from Resilience and Specialist Operations (RSO), PTS, HART, frontline 999 operations and colleagues from frontline operations across the Trust who were on a ‘socially distanced’ training course in the building all took a moment to remember together outside the building.
  • Our colleagues who were undertaking their driver training took a moment out of their training while in Didcot, and another team took a moment to remember while undertaking driver training in Southsea.
  • In Hursley PTS crew Debbie Crofts and Robert George managed to get a moment between patients to pay their respects at a local memorial, where they were thanked by members of the local community.

In addition the two minutes silence was also marked by:

  • Belinda and Lloyd from Stoke PTS who marked the event alongside colleagues at Amersham Fire Station.
  • The team at North Harbour Resource Centre who stood together for two minutes outside the station to remember the fallen.
