A word from our Chief Executive

Welcome to SCAS – I’m delighted you’ve decided to join one of the best ambulance trusts in the country.

Last year we responded to over 540,000 emergency 999  calls, took over 1.2 million calls in our 111 service, carried out over 500,000 patient transport journeys, delivered over 13.2m packages and trained thousands of people in first aid and other clinical skills. None of this would be possible without people like you.

Whether you work on the frontline, in a control room or in one of our vital support services, your role is just as important as everyone else’s in enabling SCAS to save lives and get people the care they need, when they need it.
