SCAS Council of Governors Meeting

SCAS’ Council of Governors will meet (virtually) on Thursday 7th October at 18.30.

This meeting is open to everyone, including Foundation Trust members, SCAS staff and Governors, as well as members of the public.

Our Governors represent the interests of the Trust’s members and the general public, and hold the Non-Executive Directors to account for the performance of the SCAS Board and the Trust. World Restart a Heart Day!

World Restart a Heart Day!

South Central Ambulance Service are proud to support the Resuscitation Council (UK) who run the campaign ‘World Restart a Heart Day’. This is a global initiative to raise awareness and education of CPR and AEDs in the community and takes place each year on 16th October

Last year we ran a series of live Facebook events with live demonstrations and Q&A’s. You can see the videos here on our SCAS Youth website

Starting on Monday 11th October we will be running more virtual sessions throughout the week! Everyday there will be a Facebook live event at 10am, including sessions on Basic Life Support and how to use an AED.

SCAS Board of Directors Meeting in Public – Thursday 30th September 2021

The Board of Directors for South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) meets bi-monthly for a meeting in public. It comprises seven Executive Directors (including the Chief Executive) and eight Non-Executive Directors, including the Trust’s Chair. The Non-Executive Directors hold the Executive Directors to account for the day-to-day running of the organisation, and the Board, as a whole, determines the future strategy for the Trust.

The next Board meeting in public is being held virtually using Microsoft Teams on Thursday 30th September at 09.45hrs. This meeting is open to everyone, including Foundation Trust members, SCAS staff and Governors, as well as members of the public.

Further details along with a copy of the papers for the meeting will be available to view on the SCAS website approximately one week before the meeting.

SCAS Council of Governors Meeting

SCAS’ Annual General Meeting – Thursday 30th September 2021

SCAS’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) is taking place on Thursday 30th September at 13.30 and will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.

This meeting is open to everyone and will be an opportunity to hear from the Trust’s Chief Executive and Board of Directors.

In what has undoubtedly been an extraordinary year, our 2020/21 AGM will highlight some of SCAS’ involvement running the National Covid Response Services and will also reflect on some of the Trust’s other work, including its achievements and what it has delivered for patients.

There will also be a chance for attendees to ask questions. Please can we ask that, where possible, questions are submitted in advance to our Company Secretary (company.secretary@scas.nhs.uk) by no later than 17.00hrs on Tuesday 28th September.
