Thanks to the thousands of people involved, the NHS has now offered vaccines to everyone aged 18 and over as well as millions of health and social care workers, unpaid carers and people at higher clinical risk. Over 60.8 million vaccines have been delivered in total. 25.7 million people have now received a second dose. This means around eight in 10 adults have had their first dose and more than half have had their vital second dose, providing maximum protection from Covid-19.

So if you receive an invitation, whether for your first or second dose, please do act on it as soon as possible.

The latest vaccination figures are updated daily at the NHS England website
