South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) will be holding its biannual Oxfordshire Community Engagement Forum on Thursday 3 May from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at All Saints Youth and Community Hall, Roman Place, Didcot, OX11 7ER.
SCAS is committed to involving patients, local people and foundation trust members in the development of the services it provides; one way in which the Trust does this is via the community engagement forums held twice a year in each county.
The Trust would like to encourage members from a variety of backgrounds and ages to join their local forum so that they can be truly representative of local communities.
Ross Cornett, Acting Head of Operations for Oxfordshire, and Amanda Painter, Head of Patient Experience, will be available for a ‘Question Time’ session. David England, Community Engagement and Training Officer for Oxfordshire, will be talking about SCAS’ community first responder initiative.
The forum will conclude with a speed networking session where representatives from organisations will be given a three minute slot to talk about their service and any new initiatives. Leaflets and other materials for distribution will also be welcome.
