South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) will be holding its biannual Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Community Engagement Forum on Thursday 28 June from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Aylesbury Town Council, The Chamber, Town Hall, 5 Church Street, Aylesbury, HP20 2QP.
SCAS is committed to involving patients, local people and foundation trust members in the development of the services it provides; one way in which the Trust does this is via the community engagement forums held twice a year in each county. The Forum is an open invitation to anyone who wants to play a part in shaping the services (emergency and non-emergency) that SCAS provides for people living in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
The agenda for the meeting will include:
- Emergency 999 operations update from Mark Begley, Head of Operations for Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale
- Patient experience update from Amanda Painter, Head of Patient Experience
- Question Time with Mark and Amanda answering any questions from those attending
- Healthwatch Bucks in the local communities with Thalia Jervis, Chief Executive
The forum will conclude with a speed networking session where representatives from organisations will be given a three minute slot to talk about their service and any new initiatives. Leaflets and other materials for distribution will also be welcome.
